Rudolf Štorkán was born in 1946 in Roztoky near Prague. After graduating from Charles University, he spent five years working as an art editor and graphic... designer for a children's magazine. For the following fifty years he has worked on a freelance basis and illustrated or graphically edited a long list of books. Štorkán currently focuses on creating graphic prints/sheets.
