Using photoshop to create a pattern that can move on the image by using colors.

Testing the colors I could get on a black background. By creating a pattern that can challenge the viewer. There is no exact pattern to the design itself but it does look like a pattern at the same time. Using the same color scheme but using direction to push the pattern out by separating the color scheme.

I got a pattern that isn't getting lost into the background but a piece that is balanced.

I created a tartan pattern that incorporated 4 colors. By using these 4 colors, I choose them by their interaction with each color. The viewer would see the middle of the piece first but branch out to cover the entire piece. Instead of having 4 colors I ended up having more due to the overlapping of colors that complimented one another.

If I were to create a Tartan Pattern, what would it be?

I got interesting colors that complimented one another, none of the shapes became lost in the piece itself. The art piece became one and is eye catchy to the viewer.
