Approach
finding a background that would highlight the different colors and details of the tech. i\When I finally got the right angle, by laying on the floor and making sure that the details were shown.
Results
The overall response for this picture was, "thumbs up" and "great work". Although my picture was not chosen by the advertising company, many still liked it.

I had my brother take the side panel off of the computer and set it in a half dark half light area.
