The goal of this project was to rebrand a San Antonio recording studio, Wavemaker, with a new logo and brand identity.
My approach to the brand extension showcases the feeling of the new logo, with a very geometric and tech-like appearance. I chose a very simple and clean color palette for the brand, using lots of negative white space with bright red and black. Some of the brand extensions also utilize a very geometric pattern created from the forms of the W and M in the logo.
The rebrand brings a fresh new, bold and geometric approach to the recording studio that was lacking previously. It also pushes the brand out further to incorporate different brand touchpoints and packaging for recording studio equipment. Each element of the extension remains very cohesive in its use of the color palette, primary and secondary logo variations, pattern, and geometric shapes.
