This poster was my response to the theme: ‘touching’ for the Hong Kong Poster Triennial.
Approach
I spelled the word ‘touching’ with a Texas dialect to add to the amusement of the poster.
Results
It depicts a Texas cowboy and his love interest standing back to back, connected at the spurs. The spurs represent a humorous metaphor for the relationship between the two shy lovers. The splatters are representative of the sparks that are ignited by their feelings for one another.
