The goal of this project was to create a magazine concept of my choice and design the entirety of the magazine’s content, including the front and back covers, article spreads, table of contents, manifesto, and credits. I made a magazine for plant lovers who find comfort in collecting houseplants. This magazine offers readers the ultimate guide to indoor plants by featuring gardening tips, houseplant trends, and calming plants to grow at home.

The warm, earthy tones of the color palette reflect nature. Throughout the design, a wide range of Serif fonts were utilized because of its organic look and its evocation of natural forms. It was a great exercise to establish a system and arrange content with a strong grid structure.

The project was a success. All the goals were met and I was satisfied with how the work came out. I received positive feedback from other students and the professor.
