The theme was: RE: RETHINK, REDESIGN, RECYCLE: Designers' Breath for the Environment. The poster therefore focuses on the issue of smog. Smog is an invisible but terrible problem and affects the whole world. People on all continents are struggling with smog. In Poland, a country in Europe with a population of around 40 million, over 40 000 people die every year poisoned by smog. They often burn poisonous fuels themselves in the stoves of their homes...
The poster is supposed to make us aware that we are poisoning ourselves and it is worth doing something to change this.

The poster was designed using a visual metaphor. The illustration is combined with typography. A figure made of smoke inhales its own poisoned air. A second version of the poster was designed with an extended description of the smog problem.
