Urban Life is a faith-based community which lives for the well being of their community by running social enterprises and other social programs. Urban Life is situated in a part of Melbourne, Australia which is undergoing some rapid urban renewal and it was felt that the look and feel of their brand needed to be updated to reflect this.
A clean, uncomplicated design was developed incorporating a ‘U’ and a macron (overscore). The macron indicates a place to pause – therefore serving to remind Urban Life to pause and consider how best to live for the well being of their community. Some of the collateral also makes reference to Urban Life’s location adjacent to an iconic street art precinct.
According to the client, the design perfectly fitted the ethos and philosophy of their community.
