For season 2 of the hit show, Making The Cut – our design team's goal was for the art to pop on platform and on outdoor executions. We wanted the execution to feel playful and premium at the same time.
We chose a playful, bold black & white fabric pattern and the "chameleon" concept. The typography is composed over a clean strip of black textured fabric for easy branding & legibility.
The tagline "WATCH IT. WEAR IT." was written to play up the shopability of this show. Viewers can actually purchase the winning looks on amazon after each episode airs. This is a unique positioning for the title and amazon wanted to highlight the "screen-to-closet" idea.
The artwork successfully stood out on amazon platform as well as out of home placements. Heidi and Tim camouflaging into this bold pattern created a playful and elevated feel to the overall campaign.
