The poster "War&Peace" aims to make people aware of the danger of war subtly and avoid it. This poster uses the design concept of juxtaposition, ingeniously combining the peace dove representing peace and the mushroom cloud representing war, which wisely let images are formed in the positive space and the negative space at the same time. And the orange color is eye-catching and means war as well. Abstract design makes this poster rich in ornamental, and the graphics make the whole poster elegant and powerful.

The original intention of designing this poster is to create expressive graphic posters, and it can warn people of war. Juxtaposition is a very expressive design method, which can combine two things in one image. I am most satisfied with the use of positive and negative space within this poster's design. During the design process, I was struggled with combining the completely opposite terms of war and peace. After trying many different combinations, I found that the pair of Mushroom Cloud and Peace Dove is extremely powerful in visual.
