This motion graphics is a project I have designed to illustrate words that aren't familiar to everyone.
It's a series of three different words; Nemophilist, Serendipity, and Phosphenes. All of which tells a story, describing the definition.
Like how children learn words using books and illustrations, this short animation helps to approach a broader audience more playfully and colorfully. It's very easy to follow with familiar soundtracks and has a little bit of a whimsical twist to each story.

It took ten weeks, from creating a mood board to finalizing with the background audio. It was a challenge to learn a new program within these weeks while still matching the deadline. The result, however, was astonishing; maintaining a clean illustrative look as well as having a fun storyline.

This project was able to be part of our school design and advertising 2021 spring show collection, along with many other colleagues' work.
