Our team was asked to develop a new storyline and accompanying promotional materials that would lead to childlike anticipation and buying excitement during the holiday shopping season. Materials were created to reflect the sentiments of the buying and giving season through the lens of the Snap-on® van, providing franchisees with festive holiday support in their mobile retail environment, ultimately making them the highlight of their customers’ day.

Snappy Holidays is an annual seasonal promotion. We developed communications featuring a uniquely Snap-on holiday character, making the connection to the holiday dreams of the technician audience. The approach enabled us to bring an element of holiday magic, playful imagination and childlike glee to the mobile store. Imagery was consistent in video, social, POS and a storybook featuring magical scenes where the Gnome With the Chrome comes to life in playful settings that promote product in a dreamlike way.

The program sold out and was widely embraced throughout the sales organization. By bringing a holiday wonderland directly to technicians as part of their weekly experience with their franchisee, Snap-on provided a fun, unique shopping experience for franchisees that was one-of-a-kind and easy to execute and share with customers.
