In light of the current Capital Campaign, the 150th Anniversary, growth and autonomy of the school, and increasing involvement on the part of the Board of Governors, there was a desire and need to produce a SAIC specific Annual Report. Some of the requirements were for the Annual Report to act as an opportunity for our donors, board members, and other constituents to acquire a summary of the state of the institution, help these audiences connect with the SAIC community, learn about the SAIC people and projects that are shaping our culture, and see how SAIC is redefining the world of art and design. It also had to be tied to the capital campaign, to inspire donors to continue or increase their support and build excitement around SAIC's 150th anniversary.
