The goal of this project was to create an ad urging people to wear a mask to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Approach
For the ad I used an image of The National COVID Memorial Wall in the UK, where each heart represents a life lost to COVID-19, paired with a headline using the word heart.
Results
The ad is successful because instead of using numbers, the audience is shown a representation of each individual life lost from COVID-19, extending beyond the ads boundaries, and pressuring the audience to have humanity by wearing a mask.
