How did you manage to get such great results with this photograph? I am fascinated by reflections and I saw this one of the building I was in the windows across the street. I composed the shot to be as symmetrical as possible and used Photoshop to enhance colors and create an abstract feel to the image — almost like an optical illusion. To produce the best work for a client, what is the ideal working relationship between you and an art director or designer? The ideal relationship is a collaborative one, where I have a complete understanding of what my client needs and enough freedom to put my creativity to good use. My client’s satisfaction is my number one concern. How do you balance commercial work and personal work? I balance my commercial work and personal work by always having a camera with me to shoot personal work whenever I see an opportunity. Most of my favorite personal work is done when an image presents itself and I am able to capture it because I am prepared. I, like many photographers, see much of life as possible great images. I feel the same about the commercial work I do.
