The goal was to create an interesting mark for an Italian mustache wax company.
Approach
The process incorporated several detailed and expansive word lists to combine two unique items together: Venice & mustache wax. From there, preliminary sketches combine identifiable imagery to create a unique concept.
Results
The solution successfully combined the storied gondolas of Venice with the stylish shape of a mustache. We used the type to create an emblem which also created a negative space that signified the facial area.
