A brand mark was needed for a public art initiative with a social aspect. The Missing is to comprise a series of stencil portraits and descriptionms of missing persons which would be installed in various public spaces around Melbourne, Australia.
Approach
A typographic solution was chosen that alluded to use of stencil artwork in the project as well as subtly suggesting something that is unexplained or unclear.
Results
Although the project is yet to be implemented, the client loved the solution and felt that it reflected the tone of the project.
