The poster theme is "contact- a thematic category that emphasizes the need for contact, especially in times of spreading pandemic." My idea was to create a labyrinth to illustrate how two people are trying to connect through messages. The labyrinth is both confusing and frustrating, but rewarding when we are able to reach the other side. I feel it is the same way during the pandemic, where we have to learn a whole new language of online learning, and a new platform. There are some errors that happen when you hit the dead end, the same way the "dead end" is our frustrations during our attempt of connecting with others during the pandemic. I choose the color yellow to be incorporated too because a yellow flag on a ship indicates quarantine, which is very fitting for the concept.
