The young char in the can (German: Junge Saiblinge) is a very delicate product, containing an Austrian freshwater fish.
With the design, the goal was to transport the exclusiveness of this product, but also keep it modern. The aim was to combine culinary taste & art – the design is inspired by the characteristic flair of small art galleries.

The fish was foil-collaged by the contemporary artist Kurt Rudolf.
The graphic designer Christine Puchner set the fish on a dark blue and noble background, giving it enough room to create the impression of the fish swimming around in the box. She applied typography in a young and casual style and also collaged the backside of the box.
This luxury box was produced in offset print, with Hot foil stamping and UV garnish.

The Product found approval and was successfully integrated in the German and Austrian market.
