Mike Kriefski / Shine United
President & Chief Creative Officer

Mike Kriefski’s career of over 30 years is marked by equal parts diligent craftsmanship and inspired entrepreneurialism. After beginning his career as an assistant photographer, he transitioned to agency life at companies both big and small, including time as an art director with Young & Rubicam. Mike co-founded Shine United in 2001. Under his leadership, what started as a boutique advertising and design shop has grown to a full-service creative, media, and production house. Mike has created transformative communications for brands like Harley-Davidson, Kohler, UW Health, Audi, and Mizuno. In addition to managing the agency and its creative output, Mike writes and directs TV and video content across a wide range of clients and categories.

Dan Magdich / Brunner

Dan Magdich is a rare creative—an artist turned advertiser who is intuitively strategic, creatively curious, and friendly as hell. While Dan serves as Brunner’s VP and executive creative director, his past creative titles have included designer, art director, copywriter, filmmaker, illustrator, and author. As a “creative’s creative,” he believes every word, color, and visual builds stronger brands. That belief is felt in his work for Church’s Texas Chicken, YellaWood, Dairyland, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Dropbox, Google, GNC, and more. Dan’s favorite project is his not-safe-for-kids parenting memoir, Hot Dog People and Other Bite-Size Sacrifices.

Courtney Richardson / Droga5
Creative Director

An award-winning and highly sought-after creative force, Courtney Richardson is a lauded creative director at Droga5, leading campaigns for influential brands, including Amazon Music, Chase Sapphire, Ad Council, The Africa Center, and others. She is also the founder of the Museum of Nail Art (MoNA), whose goal is to be an immersive destination highlighting trendsetting cultural influences regarding nail art as radical Black beauty. Opening its doors in spring 2025, she dedicates the concept of the MoNA to the diverse women of color she grew up around, who taught her: “Treat yourself. Never cheat yourself.”
