Taku Satoh Graphic designer Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, majoring in Design, in 1979; completed graduate course at the same university in 1981. Initially joined... Dentsu Inc., then established Taku Satoh Design Office in 1984. Product designs and branding for “Lotte’s XYLITOL Gum,” “MEIJI Dairies’ Oishii Gyunyu,” and “S&B Foods’ Spice & Herb Series,” etc.; grand design for “Cleansui”; and symbol marks of “21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa,” “National Museum of Nature and Science, Tokyo,” etc. Involved in planning and art direction of “Nihongo de Asobo (Let’s Play in Japanese)” TV program on NHK educational channel. Director of 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT. His “Analysis of the Massproduct Design” project, which intends to dissect mass-produced merchandise from perspective of design, attracted public attention.
